                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING NORTH 11TH
                   STREET LOCATED NORTHEAST FROM CRUTCHFIELD
                   STREET, BETWEEN AMNICOLA HIGHWAY AND
                   BELLE-ARBOR AVENUE, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
         and abandoned North 11th Street located northeast from 
Crutchfield
         Street, between Amnicola Highway and Belle-Arbor Avenue, more
         particularly described herein, and as shown on plat attached
         hereto and made a part hereof by reference:
                North 11th Street, a 50 foot wide unopened
                right-of-way beginning on the northeast line of
                Crutchfield Street 233 feet southeast of the
                intersection of the northeast line of Crutchfield
                Street with the southeast line of Amnicola Highway,
                and extending northeast 200 feet between parallel
                lines.  Said street separates lots 8 and 10, and
                part of lot 12, block 76, from lots 1 and 9, and
                part of lot 11, block 75, Roland Hayes Heights, as
                shown by plat of record in plat book 14, page 117,
                ROHC.  Tax Map No. 136C-C-1, and 136C-D-28 and 29.
               
               
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as 
provided
         by law.
